Captain Galactic: Super Space Hero
Despite the horribly cheesy title, Captain Galactic is a surprisingly invigorating, dextrous puzzle game. The eponymous Captain begins by running up to speed around the circumference of a small planetoid. Once the escape velocity has been reached you shunt him into orbit, where he can circle the planet collecting up goodies lodged in the atmosphere. When the planetoid has been cleared, you then make a break for the next stellar body. It’s a simple gameplay mechanic, but one that’s immensely addictive and quite original.3G Score 8.1

BlackJack Mobile Game
All the budding card players just take a look at the EC BlackJack 2.0 Mobile GameHere's the nitty gritty about this Flash Lite app:* Graphics - Good, solid graphics. Then again we are talking about playing cards here! Overall quality of the game layout is indeed very good visually.* Game play - This is a strategy game. Plain and simple. Don’t expect to be mesmerized with killer graphics and gameplay. If you want to learn the game of blackjack or simply become a better player, then this app is for you.* Music/Sound FX - Well, there's no music, and the Sound FX are OK, but honestly they can be a bit annoying. I actually play the game on mute so I can concentrate on my cards!• Controls - I have been playing this game on a Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, and the controls are perfect. In addition to the touch-enabled version for Nokia S60 5th edition devices, the app is also available for most Nokia S60 3rd edition devices (such as the N95, N96, or N81), and various Nokia Series 40 devices.Overall, this is a really cool blackjack strategy game. As an avid Blackjack player, I would recommend this application to both beginners and experts alike, as it will prove to be a valuable tool before you hit the casinos. This game is available for a widge range of Nokia devices (including S60 3rd Edition, S60 5th Edition devices, and Series 40 devices). It costs $4.99 in the Ovi Store, and it can be purchased here.

Civilization IV: War of Two Cities Mobile Game Review

Game design guru Sid Meier once managed to convincingly shoehorn all of human civilisation into a computer game, and we’re still escaping into his world of utopia building rather than suffer reality.
This latest mobile adaptation of Meier’s long-running franchise is scaled down, though that’s no bad thing. The levels are quite basic 2D maps, with your city at one end and the enemy’s at the other. Through careful resource management and lashings of the series’ trademark strategising, your task is to break the infantry through and capture the opposing metropolis.

Space Invaders Infinity Gene Mobile Game Review

Infinity Gene begins with a delicious homage to its coin-guzzling ancestry, with an ultra-basic black and white rendition of the alien march. But after a few deft shots the game quite literally evolves to bring Space Invaders up to date.
With each new stage the game changes again, though always remaining firmly within the DNA of its coin-op genome. It’s hard to believe that a game as old as Space Invaders could be revolutionised so profoundly, but Infinity Gene allows a new generation to experience what it was like when the original first stormed the arcades.

Wolfenstein RPG Mobile Game Review

Putting together a successful remake is no small challenge. A game like Wolfenstein RPG needs to capture the essence of the original, cult favourite and represent its graphical style while giving it a fresh lick of digital paint – and offer something new.Wolfenstein accomplishes all these tasks admirably, with the ingenious addition of turn-based combat blended into the excellent 3D dungeon crawler gameplay. The mouse and keyboard have been perfectly substituted for the touch screen, making this the game of choice for id Software fanatics.

Flight Control iPhone Game Review

This isn’t a new game, but it’s easily one of the most popular. Flight Control has been updated in accord with the iPhone’s 3.0 upgrade, and now offers two new maps to take control of.The coastal resort offers a steadier, easier patch of air keep clear, while the aircraft carrier presents an intense experience with fast-moving military planes buzzing about the sky.Topping things off is a new Bluetooth multiplayer mode, so there’s never been a better reason to update your firmware.

Guitar Rock Tour 2 Mobile Game Review

Mobile keypads make surprisingly good controllers for music/rhythm games.Where they struggle is in storing the essential music to accompany the twitch gameplay. MIDI files are generally on par with jamming a knitting needle in your ear, so the biggest surprise here is how melodic the music is.The gameplay remains as accessible as its predecessor, while the revamped graphics and remarkably decent audio make Guitar Rock Tour 2 an unexpected success.

Orcs and Elves on iPhone !

Rumours suggest that the ID software game Orcs and Elves will be coming to iPhone very soon.John Carmack said , at the recent Quakecon computer game event, that he wanted to bring the game to iPhone earlier than he has been able to and that development will begin soon. The game orignally launched on mobiles in 2006 and is a fantasy role playing game !

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince Mobile Game Review

If you’re a stickler for details in adaptations of your favourite fictional characters, you’re probably less likely to enjoy the mobile game of the film than those who don’t really care about muggles, mudbloods and all that other magical nonsense. This great looking Harry Potter game blends in an altogether decent adventure with a good supply of puzzle solving, spell casting and vague storytelling. A little easy, but surprisingly entertaining.

Pac-Man Championship Edition Mobile Game Review

The iconic symbol of the birth of arcades remains as vital as ever to the games industry, but he’s been through every possible style, platform and genre until there’s simply nothing left to do but keep putting out the same old retro chestnut.
But it seems there’s at least one surprise left in the dot-muncher’s coin box. For the first time in 26 years, the game’s original designer, Toru Iwatani, has returned to his drawing board and come up with some all new maze designs for his immortal creation.
But that’s only a small part of how this remarkable new iteration makes Pac-Man live again. The graphics – which very much return to form with simple, line-drawn 2D mazes – have a beautiful (and somehow very appropriate) neon hue, with some delicious special effects thrown in to subtly enhance the experience.
Rather than attempting to clear the maze of dots, this time you’re competing against a timer to shore up the highest score. It’s a subtle difference, but a vital one. Only a few dots and power pills will be strategically laid out around the maze, and once cleared, the walls will invisibly shift (off screen) to reveal the next arrangement of Pac-Man’s favourite food.
A few fantastic variations are built around this superb new gameplay model, bringing the classic game’s inherent addictiveness right back to the boil for the first time in over two decades. It’s simply wonderful to see Pac-Man retake the video gaming throne.

Spy Hunter Mobile Game Review

Retro gamers delight to hear the name of the Miami Vice-inspired shooter, Spy Hunter. And for good reason, for although we call it a shooter, it’s every bit a racing game, and a very inspirational one at that. The game is a little tame by today’s standards, but this latest mobile iteration re-creates Midway’s 1983 coin-op classic admirably. With twin machine guns mounted on the bonnet and a variety of additional weaponry at your disposal, Spy Hunter is just as appealing to newcomers as it is to fans of the original.

Worms Mobile Game Review

Artillery games have been big news on the iPhone, after developers made millions from 59p titles. Now the most popular of them all, Worms, is here to reclaim its crown.
The invertebrate soldiers battle it out with all the powerful and inventive weaponry we’ve come to associate with the franchise. The jet pack, ninja rope, concrete donkey, and all the others work from the iPhone’s touch-screen, while the randomly generated landscapes and quirky graphics have been beautifully recreated.

Monster Pinball iPhone Game Review

Just because a game intends to recreate the pinball experience, there’s no reason it has to be restricted by it. Yet, most pinball simulators adhere strictly to the virtual physics of a ball bearing, flippers and mechanical bumper.
Not Monster Pinball, however. This game is very much Pinball 2.0, and although it recreates the physics of the real game superbly well, it also packs in unique gameplay features that could only exist on a virtual table.
Coupled with beautiful artwork, creative level designs and atmospheric sound effects, Monster Pinball is a triumph of both form and function.
My Brute iPhone Game Review

You might have heard of the web phenomenon called My Brute, which currently enjoys around 1.7 million players every day. It’s a bizarre concept to begin with, being a turn-based RPG fighting game, but the all-new iPhone adaptation is like gaming heroin. You create your Brute from a host of different options, then establish your own dojo and kung fu style, and pit your pugilist against the rest of the world’s My Brute fighters. The fights are non-interactive, which is weird at first, but as your dojo grows you’ll be checking in on your Brute as obsessively as you check your email.
